St. Mary's Parish Hall, Horbury, Wakefield, West yorkshire
By car:
From Wakefield - take the A642 (don't turn off to Horbury town centre) - turn left into Daw Lane (shortly after 'Go Local' convenience store) and note the strange sculpture on the right (it looks like a deformed seat). Follow the road down as it wanders left, then right, to the fork . Straight on there is limited parking in front of the church (Millfield Road). The left turning is Green Lane where there is a slightly hidden right of way (with a white wall) leading to the church hall (but parking is very limited).
From Horbury Bridge - take the A642, pass the left turning to Horbury town centre and pass "The Bull's Head" p.h. on the right. Where the speed limit drops to 30 mph Daw Lane is immediately on the right.
NB: The white road that comes out opposite Cluntergate is pedestrian only.
By bus:
Routes 119/120 pass the church front BUT not after 1800 hrs (useful for our Saturday games though).
Routes 126/127 run along the main road (A642) and turn up Cluntergate towards Horbury town centre. If you expand the map it shows a small, un-named, road directly opposite Cluntergate (this cuts off a small section of Daw Lane).
By rail:
In spite of three railway lines close by there is no station at Horbury (thanks to Dr Beeching). Nearest stations are at Wakefield and Batley.
